Yes!!! Carter is in Lover withdrawal bad. And I come home to this!!!!on our kitchen table are gifts for all Castle members ❤️
And then I see this on Facebook

If you look at the signs on our table,
She got a gift for Carter , flowers for granny, books for Dino and Ashley has a ice coffee in the fridge!!! She is soooo sweet!!!!
Today is candy bar day!!!!!!!
Favorite candy bar??? With Halloween right around the corner….it’s all about the REESE’S
Reese’s peanutbutter cup ( nothing compares)
So chew on these recipes 😋😋😋👇🏼
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookies
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup + 2 TBSP butter, softened
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 cups combined chocolate chips/ Reese’s
1 With a hand mixer, cream together the peanut butter, butter, white sugar and brown sugar until blended.
2 Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla.
3 Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl.
4 Add flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture and mix together. Stir in whatever mix of chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, mini Reese’s pieces and regular Reese’s Pieces you’d like! I used about 1/2 cup of each, reserving some of the Reese’s Pieces for the top of the cookies.
5 Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough and roll into balls.
6 Place cookies 2 inches apart on parchment lined cookie sheets. Press additional Reese’s Pieces onto each cookie dough ball.
7 Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375. Don’t overcook! These cookies are much better soft and just barely cooked all the way through. I baked the cookies scooped with the medium 1.5 TBSP scoop for 8 minutes and the 3 TBSP cookies for 10 minutes.
EAT and Enjoy 😋
HOMEMADE REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
To those who feel like being creative ………
• 1 sleeve graham crackers, crushed (10 sheets)
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1½ cup peanut butter, melted
• 3 cups milk chocolate chips
Line muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a medium sized mixing bowl mix together the crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, and peanut butter. (I just softened mine for about 40 seconds in the microwave). Mix together until combined.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl stirring 30 seconds at a time until smooth. Add a heaping teaspoon into the bottom of each cupcake liner and spread along the bottom. Follow it by a heaping tablespoon of the peanut butter mixture. Lastly add a heaping teaspoon of the melted to the chocolate and spread evenly over the peanut butter layer. Refrigerate for about an hour until set and firm.
So basically if you add Reese’s peanut butter cups to just about anything, you will be winning!
Excited for this weekend ! Lots happening, blondes are staying with us to join in on the Festivities. Their parents are heading up north with Ollie D, to pack up and to close up the boat, that means summer has officially ended😥
